Coast: the land bordering the sea.
Inlet: a narrow body of water leading inland from the sea.

Erosion: the natural wearing away and transportation
Massif: a large mountain mass or group of mountains forming an independent section of a range.
Basin: An area of land that is draines by a river or a lake and that is lower than the surronding area.
Valley: a linear depression in the land.
Plateau: a flat area of land which sits at a certain altitude above the sea level.
Plain: a large open flat or slightly undulating area of land.
Headland: a smal area of land that project into the sea.
Peninsula: a large scale headland surronded by land on three sides. A peninsula can be connected by an isthmus.
Gulf: an area surronded by land on threee sides. It forms the shape of an arc.
Island: a piece of land completely surronded by water.
Oceanic ridge: an underwater mountain range that generally covers alerge area and reaches high altitudes.
Oceanic trench: a long depression on the ocean floor that can be thousands of metres deep.
Abyssal plain: a flat area of the ocean floor. They are found at depths.
